Sound RatingB
NoteSBD; Audio=2; Sound on a few of the tracks is not very good, but most sound good. The middle part of disc 1 & a couple tracks on disc 2 dont sound very good. The bass level is low & there is lots of hiss. The rest sounds good, with the levels all fine & not much hiss. The placement of Dark Star is odd in that it arrives in Set I with a very interesting, enjoyable jam led by Keith. Too bad this jam didnt go on longer. Jerry seemed almost hesitant(disappointed?) about dropping that jam & going to El Paso, before diving into deep space. Sweet outro of Saturday Night by Garcia. Nice mid-set II Brokedown. Some great jamming out of Not Fade Away. Overall, a good performance, but the sound on some of this isnt very good.
