Note | Stellar show. Slow Train opens the show (they're some kind of Skynyrd-Allmans-Feat-.38 Special hybrid -- we'll just call them "Shit") and give way to Loudon who strums and works the crowd like a friggin' master. The audience is way-into the show and very appreciative when he plays "Rufus Is a Tit Man". (Can you blame him? Rufus, I mean.) Slow Train, er, I mean "Shit", backs Loudon for the last portion of the show; fun to hear Loudon being a rock'n'roller. It actually sounds pretty good, proving "Shit" needs to take Loudon out on the road much more than Loudon needs to take "Shit." (Is that only funny to me?) |
