Note | First, as of 12.04.02 I am the only person on etree to have England Dan & John Ford Coley -- the only thing I'm sure that makes me is proud. Second, these guys try to pull a fast one on this show taped for broadcast (thus the tiniest bit of FM noise -- hell, it was most likely AM) -- they slip in a studio version of "Love Is the Answer" and put applause over it at the end. What? They didn't think we wouldn't notice how the track fades-out? It reminds me of the 70s and 80s when groups would perform on American Bandstand and lip-synch their tunes and awkwardly try to end a song over the fade. Classic, gut-busting stuff. |
