Tech Note | Taper notes: Here is my humble contribution to the SHN world. Direct off my master tape, here's my hometown recording of the U2 show in Detroit. I know it's rather heavy on the bass, but that's the way it sounded live. The first track is extremely long. It's thirteen minutes of songs off the PA before the band comes on stage. If you do not want to relive the experience of waiting for the band, you might as well skip to track two which is the start of the Elevation remix. The included JPGs are not complete covers, but you can use the photos as a start. Recorded with Core Sound binaurals with bass roll-off, to a Sony D-100 DAT. |
