| Note | Amazing stuff. The quality suffers a bit with some low analog hiss present, but it's fascinating hearing these two artists finding themselves. Gillian hasn't quite settled into her lead vocal obligations and David is full of nervous energy. Seven or so originals are present in this set but have been subsequently dropped in the last 6-7 years. A couple of highlights include "Patiently Waiting" and "Two Days from Knowing" (a straight-up country song if I've ever heard one). An excellent document of "what was" and "what could have been". Very recommended if you can deal with the somewhat suffering audio quality. |
