Sound RatingA-
NoteSBD; Audio=3; There are many early sound problems, but halfway through a high energy Black Throated, the sound is excellent from there on. The sound rating would be an A or A+ if not for the beginning. A truly beautiful Loser! Sort of a short, but very well played, jazzy version of Eyes, followed by a gorgeous China Doll. Bob does some serious screaming throughout Around & Around. WOW, I bet that hurt. Nice work by Keith during El Paso. Amazing, nearly record-perfect vocals on Weather Report Suite, with some excellent soloing by Jerry during Let It Grow. The jam into The Other One gets a bit choppy. The Other One is rather short, before they plunge head first into deep space. From there, they head off into a blues space jam, before rolling into an instrumental version of Its A Sin, afterwhich is a very nice Stella. After all this, Phil says Thank You, to which I say NO, THANK YOU! The rest of the show is very good, with some furious playing by Phil during Sunshine Daydream. The encore of Morning Dew is one of the best versions ever, which says a lot. Overall, an extremely well played, intense, & inspired performance. Incredible show! Definitely one of my favorites from 74.
