Note | There was a strange white ball in the center of the ceiling (covering the
MSG scoreboard), on which various images were projected during the show. * With "Auld Lang Syne" tease(s). ** Ween cover # During the song, fried eggs, udder balls, and olives were projected on the ball (in reference/relating to last night's narration). This was followed by the countdown and a balloon drop at midnight. The balloons broke both Page's and Mike's mics. ^With a "Birdland" tease. $ Page sang, Frank Sinatra cover (first time played). % Before Fishman started the drums he walked to the front of the stage, poured a bottle of champagne over his head, put the bottle down and walked back to his drumkit and started playing. A guy in the front row (Adam Foley) then reached across and snagged the bottle. Happy New Year! |
