Note | Okay daud -- sound is a bit like AM -- no bass. The year is a deductive guess; it was traded to me as 02.26.83 but the appearance of songs from The Missing Years (and John's reference to the "new" album)places the show between '91 and '93. Since the album didn't come out until Sept. 1991 and John was in the studio in February '93 recording A John Prine Christmas AND John was touring overseas during early 1992, I am strongly suggesting the show is from '92. I know, I know....Hey, I'm a hardcore Prine fan. **Addendum: Boom, baby. The John Prine Shrine (www.jpshrine.org) confirms the '92 year. After all that typing, I can only write, "Whew!" |
