Transfer: Cassette Master > .wav file > iZotope RX 8 / ozone 9 (mastered) > xACT 2.50 > FLAC Volume 130 of the MRDR Master Series can be considered part of the "no tape left behind" policy we have here at mjk5510 productions. MR sent his master capture to me with a simple statement "this is terrible", after spending some time "mastering" it...it's still terrible. The bass is overdriven and at times distorted, one channel was super low (corrected) and overall has a very narrow frequency range with some instability. We have come to enjoy some exceptional quality recordings from MRDR but this is not one of those recordings however, this show only circulates as a 39 minute TV broadcast. So 45 years after the performance and in the spirit of no tape left behind, for Santana collectors/historians only, we offer the complete 1977 Verona, Italy performance. It seems to be a long show for 1977 era Santana and one interesting note "Dance Sister Dance" is played twice.
