This was the first time I had the chance to catch Rage against the machine, one of my all time favorite bands in history live on stage! It was awesome, pure madness! Even when the heavy rain kicked in in the middle of People of the sun did not lower my happyness finally to have made it and seen RATM live! The crowd was going crazy, there were moshpits everywhere, from the very front to the very back! I had to cut this recording because of the heavy rain that came in the middle of People of the sun, it was just too much rain to continue! I had prepared a plastic bag for my mics and the battery box in case of rain! So I quickly packed all the stuff into the bag and put it in my pocket and rushed through from almost the very back of the crowd to the front row! People there were packed like cattle and the big steam clowds of their sweating were all going above their heads making breathing fresh air almost impossible! Another thing which was pretty disturbing were all the crowdsurfers that were unable to endure the entire show, thus they crowdsurfed out of the mass to go and drink some or whatever. It wouldn't be that bad, but to have to look backwards all the time and watch out for crowdsurfers, who might land on you or kick you in the head sucked big time, and it were only dudes, which sucked too ;P! I was soken wet after the show, everything was wet, from top to bottom, but it was surely worth it!
