**Go ahead was a side band for Brent Mydland and Billy Kreutzmann 
while Jerry Garcia recovered from his coma. 
This tour included Alex Ligertwood and Dave Margen 
from Santana's band and Jerry Cortez of the Youngbloods 
and Jesse Colin Young.

**Since alot of these shows circulate,I thought this needed to be shared even if its a partial show.the sound quality is very good.

 Notes:
While I was working for Go Ahead the show rolled in to Chuck Landaus Country Club in Reseda Calif. and I had a friend who also worked there. Well Harry Popick was actually doing the front of house sound, and we where working for Harry for the load in, set up, and load out with some minor support during the show. So we get there and My Buddy has an area taped off front row balcony for tapers, this was a NO,NO for a few guys in the band did not want these shows being recorded. Well we say fuck it and set up discreetly and keep it hidden until the lights go out �421 Sennheisers >d5�s   also some Nak shotguns >d5�s about 6 decks all together�Well we get through the set up and sound check have dinner and we are ready for the show.. We take our �house seats� and get to business taping it and enjoying the show ..They are on fire smoking hot tonight�.. we get to the drum segment and  Harry is looking around the room digging the vibe and he looks up and shakes his head �..About 3 minutes later this guy is yelling at us and popping tapes out of the decks leaning over us �.it�s Harry�.He looks us right in the eyes and says ..YOU Mother Fuckers�  � I told you no taping� �I shoved my tape down my pants,Gave him the 2nd tape which was blank� still bickering at us�well someone got away with the 2nd tape�.   and I had the first ..and he made all of us shut down �Well needless to say the stage break down and load out was very quiet with Harry just shaking his head �I didn�t go over to well when I asked Jokingly for the tapes back �.Billy K. did find it humorous and broke Harry�s balls about this which made it worse �he almost did not pay us after the show�.. So that�s the story on this one ..I hope you all enjoy this and maybe one day the 2nd part will show up somewhere�Coyotte..
