There is sound shifting due to the wind during this recording. Reduced bass and increased highs and mids in samplitude 6.0 using x-plugin - 10 band eq stereo. Performance: A Sound Quality: B+/A- -------------------------------------- Additonal notes 8/25/07: I DL'ed the following P&F 7/29/01 sources from the IA: AKG 460+CK63 > PS2 > Zefiro MBHO 603a/KA200 > MP-2 > Tascam DAP1 > DAT FOB 9th row DFC Neumann KM 184?s > Lunatec V2 After more inspection with the above mics, I believe this recording could be the AKG 460 source above. Sound signature was very similiar, but not exact. Could be that this recording was daisy chained with the 460 AKG source, due to levels are close but not exactly the same. I lowered the bass floor thus increasing the general sound of the music to more of a mid and high sound instead of the boomy low end. Left in some of the low boom but very little. With the phase shifting the highs/mids, sometimes they sound out of sync just due to the recording. All 3 sources above were very boomy and the bass was covering the mids and highs. Out of the 3 sources above, thougth the neumanns sounded the best, but they had a very boomy sound to them. md5 1991aa292c2c11e89c838d2e5af7d586 *PF_2001-07-29D1T01.flac 63c30a1ad1c4302499475bbd238f4799 *PF_2001-07-29D1T02.flac 4f4fc3455ebb5a28163e2b9800ce9e91 *PF_2001-07-29D1T03.flac dd2aa32c7f99f6548cef64146eb1d564 *PF_2001-07-29D1T04.flac f02df32334b93090c485e922045c34ba *PF_2001-07-29D1T05.flac 8c357cda59ff016f868b4b978dd7bd42 *PF_2001-07-29D1T06.flac 1c376edeaf45f9d2691365cb7e37e962 *PF_2001-07-29D1T07.flac 0ea005b6499ffd5b5cc6548462cb72d3 *PF_2001-07-29D2T01.flac a3c2d4d4c77a5910a656158f1aeaa9dc *PF_2001-07-29D2T02.flac 1beb4459cff49723f9a0a9ee47c854d4 *PF_2001-07-29D2T03.flac 2cd1676bba92c599d5715ce91c41faae *PF_2001-07-29D2T04.flac ded63a0cc1df0e21321c9b5c3a52fbdf *PF_2001-07-29D3T01.flac cbf2a9fed8dbf330dea94054c1bd987d *PF_2001-07-29D3T02.flac 0629435f9fd62618b115e80378d0f53d *PF_2001-07-29D3T03.flac length expanded size cdr WAVE problems filename 6:51.25 72559244 --- -- ----- PF_2001-07-29D1T01.wav 15:19.40 162205724 --- -- ----- PF_2001-07-29D1T02.wav 10:42.37 113335868 --- -- ----- PF_2001-07-29D1T03.wav 13:12.19 139753532 --- -- ----- PF_2001-07-29D1T04.wav 9:59.50 105781244 --- -- ----- PF_2001-07-29D1T05.wav 9:28.06 100209356 --- -- ----- PF_2001-07-29D1T06.wav 9:10.37 97107068 --- -- ----- PF_2001-07-29D1T07.wav 19:46.69 209372732 --- -- ----- PF_2001-07-29D2T01.wav 7:25.53 78622700 --- -- ----- PF_2001-07-29D2T02.wav 12:49.39 135743372 --- -- ----- PF_2001-07-29D2T03.wav 27:39.39 292739372 --- -- ----- PF_2001-07-29D2T04.wav 12:44.36 134854316 --- -- ----- PF_2001-07-29D3T01.wav 15:19.31 162184556 --- -- ----- PF_2001-07-29D3T02.wav 7:13.65 76534124 --- -- ----- PF_2001-07-29D3T03.wav 177:43.21 1881003208 B (totals for 14 files, 1.0000 overall compression ratio) PF_2001-07-29D1T01.flac:68884a0e12d1941a56143ac2a6dc8173 PF_2001-07-29D1T02.flac:4b5a8fb9a5ad49eec0af362eea18b5a1 PF_2001-07-29D1T03.flac:721ab3c31b45f18d195f2c6471a12cbc PF_2001-07-29D1T04.flac:cd1c81bd43f06cdb17821d3efd4e4be8 PF_2001-07-29D1T05.flac:2cf6ef2e4f3a1cb7852b61a3560ba112 PF_2001-07-29D1T06.flac:b76e591cb4fc24c016b9a92ad7a44c4c PF_2001-07-29D1T07.flac:cc8f77c05637bb0186e5b9dfd65c38fd PF_2001-07-29D2T01.flac:a0d632f1e206bcaf75df7b96a4676e7e PF_2001-07-29D2T02.flac:2df25a64b5d0c0ffa40d69b261c33ca8 PF_2001-07-29D2T03.flac:d260e4dc986c5e4e482e673c1fbd7a2b PF_2001-07-29D2T04.flac:0b7ee84e68927dd8dcfe846814092491 PF_2001-07-29D3T01.flac:213f7abe3e9dac205150fb0e1c39538a PF_2001-07-29D3T02.flac:17d8d12a433c2bc1ee2decb59c81ec17 PF_2001-07-29D3T03.flac:af5f4cf3ad60f70ef49c46f800cc3391
