Early set (*early set was .)
            Part way into the evening set a rain storm had set in, eventually developing into a torrential downpour accompanied by thunder, lightning and wind) 
            Prior to the begininning of set 1,  wind screens were put on the mics, then an umbrella went up mid-set; 
            Rain was driven sideways by the wind, so I had put to my socks over the winscreens / mic body AND 
            a small towel and a raincoat was set over the mics' body & stand....the deck was wrapped in towels inside layers of a few garbage bags.  
            At that point , we then had to put up lots more plastic tarps over the sbd, monitors, and PA!....Madness
