1985 - XX - XX Copper Penny Restaurant Kingston, ON There is a source for this show however it is unknown me. I found this show years ago on thehundrethmeridian and low and behold I found it again on a disk. This show comes with cover art and an insert that reads this: In 1983 the original members of the Tragically hip consisted of guitarist Rob Baker, bass guitarist Gord Sinclair, drummer Johnny Fay, and singer Gord Downie. With his saxaphones in tow, Davis Manningjoined the boys that spring, and for the next three years , rocked with the band that would eventually rock the entire nation. In the winter of 1985 the band recorded a live show in a Kingston, ON restaurant for a radio contest. Here are 14 songs from that evening. Davis Manning left the band in the summer of 1986. Shortly after, guitarist Paul Langois became a member... and the Tragically Hip went on to become the band it is today. 1. I love my baby (here tis\') 2. Come back, baby (wish you would) 3. Evelyn 4.
