Boy did this set smoke! I'm not real familiar with the hot swing scene, but boy did this crew blow me away. Fantastic musicianship, ripping performance, IMO, and talk about fast picking - at times my brain can't keep up with all the notes played. This band doesn't really fit the RockyGrass focus on traditional bluegrass, but boy did they light up the festival. A keeper!

I bet most of you in ETree-land have never heard music like this before. Check it out, I bet you'll enjoy it a great deal.

Clamped to Rob Carney's stand just left of center. A gorgeous day of sun after two very rain days and nights. S-U-N...woohoo! During quiet sections you can hear the lovely St. Vrain burbling off in the distance to the right of the stage and viewing area. First time using the MK21 sub-cards outdoors, and I love the broad, deep soundstage and the open, natural sound the MK21s bring to the recording. Enjoy!
