-from the festival program: \"Wielding its unique, Malian influenced \'Afro-cowboy-
ninja-surf\' music, Toubab Krewe has been making waves throughout the country since
forming a year ago. Captivating live shows at major venues such as Bonaroo, paired
with TK\'s critically acclaimed (phenomenal!!!)debut cd, have earned them a national
following and praise from the NY Times, Global Rhythm, and AfroPop Worldwide. The
Toubab Krewe\'s fusion sound was developed via extended trips to West Africa, studying
and performing with masters such as Lamine Soumano, Vieux Kante, Madou Dembele, and
Koung-banan Conde. They\'ll be out supporting STS9 next month.\"
-IMHO: these guys were quite good - if you like Malian influenced stuff, check it out!
-there\'s some wind noise between songs and in some of the quieter parts, especailly the 
first 2 tracks
-FOB, 30 feet from stage, a bit to the right, mic stand 8\' high
-quality: \"A-\" IMO
