They were in the corner of Newbury Comics that had all the weird action figures so he was constantly taking stuff off the shelves to joke about. For the "rockin' a kiss" line in "Holiday", he tried to grab a Gene Simmons action figure and knocked over a 3-foot LeeVees poster on an easel by accident - hence the laughter from everyone near the end.
