 Easter Sunday 2004
 Karmageddon's just 8 years away
 and we're going through the motions every single day
 Time for the Easter Bunny to come out and play!

On Easter Sunday
 behind the church
 all of the Catholic schoolgirls had an Easter egg hunt.
 What the priests and the nuns didn't realize
 is that there was a mischievous rabbit hiding out in the woods
 who liked to play tricks on the kids.
 Jewelie was always a troublesome child
 and today she found the special chocolates
 that the bunny had hidden especially for her
 she followed a trail of them through the woods
 to the rabbit hole
 and yelled inside to see if anyone was home

alright, so the rabbit takes her down into the rabbit hole
 and he tells her the secret that he discovered when he was digging the hole
 he found a cryst-all
 that contained the consciousness of God itself
 but after he found it, it disappeard
 and he's been looking for it ever since

i spent a whole life in the mine
 well
 i never should have wasted my time
 i tried so hard to dig
 it's a crime
 and now i think i'm losing what was left of my mind
 well i got a crystal bubble
 and it brought me lots of trouble
 found it buried in the rubble
 in the middle of the night
 i put it in my pocket
 and it took off like a rocket
 went right through my third eye socket
 and i thought i saw the light
 my vision was clear
 and i stood like a deer
 caught in the headlights
 after too many beers
 and it was like

 so this is based on a true story
 I was flying on a plane to the Phish concert in Las Vegas
 it just happened to be Easter Sunday
 and I'm getting high up above America
 and I drifted off
 and had the most incredible dream
 that I was a cross between the Easter Bunny and Jesus
 I wrote this song on the plane after I woke up from that strange dream

Rabbit  Sees In

So the rabbit pulled out a couple of crystals
 he said they were fragments that had fallen off of the crystal bubble he had found
 he put them in jewelie's eyes
 and he said, that's why you're called july!
 but i was called that before you put the crystals in my eyes!
 the rabbit said:
 that's what time is, an illusion!
 and she began to see life for what it truly is
 the rabbit began to look just like jesus
 then he turned into the buddha
 ganesha
 and all the other characters that she had grown up watching on tv
 then she began to see herself reflected in the rabbit's eyes
 and she began to realize
 that we're all the same

Easter Sunday 
I actually wrote most of the music for this song on Easter Sunday 2003, and it seemed to work well as an introduction. 4-11 is of course the number you dial for information when you don't know how to connect to a number. So this Easter we had to dial 4-11 to begin to understand Cryst. 
Hippity Hoppin 
The less I explain this song the better. Let's just say that this is based on a true story and leave it at that.
Mineking 
This song was supposed to be part of a Grateful Dead type of epic about mining, boozing, gambling, etc, but it ended up working much better as a story about how the rabbit was digging his hole and found the cryst-all.
Eggman 
There are a few lines from the Beastie Boys song on top of the intro, then I chant the "This is your brain" which was an anti-drug commercial while I was growing up, where they fried an egg and said, "this is your brain on drugs."
Sidewize 
This is where we escape the story, was it all a dream? Actually I didn't even go to Vegas, so this is the part that is least true out of any of this so far. This is obviously just the basic stuff you think about on an airplane...the props to Propellerhead are because I use the program Reason to make all of this, which is simply an amazing wonderful blessing that I have been given. 
Rabbit Sees In 
This will be much cooler when I do it live!
Cryst All Eyes 
This song reveals that we are all trying to figure out a puzzle where every person is a facet on a crystal. The spirit that lives inside a cow is of course a holy spirit that can be transmitted in many ways, and helps to open our cryst all eyes. The spoken word stuff is from Grant Morrison's Invisibles comic, which everyone should read!
Dark Feast 
This is the Mad Tea Party or Last Supper or whatever you want to call it. Just a ton of crazy concoctions until everyone is wasted.
This is the Future 
Now that Jewelie is in the proper mind state, she is instructed in the ways of the white rabbit. If time is an illusion, aren't we already in the future? So why keep waiting for it to arrive?
Open the Door 
Come on in, the party's just getting started. Triple you is one of the letters in the secret alphabet in The Invisibles, and of course, it's also a reference to seeing yourself in the Cryst-All. "The sky was yellow and the sun was blue" is a line from Scarlet Begonias by the Grateful Dead, and fits in with the Alice in Wonderland logical problems, as well as the fact that before being resurrected, the son was sort of blue too. The fu manchu is a reference to The Perfume song "Digital Buddha coming for you, with a big old belly and a fu manchu" and the "in disguise" part is because Jesus, Buddha, etc are the Cryst-All, but it's hidden in the puzzle.
The Promo 
This is "Icculus" by Phish, which is about how Icculus, Phish's version of Jesus/Moses wrote "The Helping Friendly Book." Phish's Gamehendge saga is a huge influence on this work, so I had to give props to Icculus, especially since it's the perfect way to advertise my book, look away, which is actually part of another phish song. Tom Marshall, who wrote the song "Walls of the Cave" got a copy of my book around the time he wrote that song. Hmmm...we're all reflecting each other!
King of Kings 
This has my parody version of The Perfume's Digital Buddha at the end. (now you know why I don't call it a Biscuits song)

Legalize 
This is of course the end of I am the Walrus, where I take the "smoke pot, smoke pot, everybody smoke pot" chant from the original song and segue into Legalize it by Peter Tosh, and of course Legalize rhymes with Cryst-All-Eyes so it works out great! Some day I'll do the other verse of the Beatles song.
Crucify Me 
Another Beatles tune. We are going to be performing at times as a Beatles cover band called "Lucy in Disguise" so that's why there's so many songs from them on here.
Gosh Darn It 
This song is weird because it switches between the rabbit, the law, and the girl...but that's what happens when you look through crystall eyes, we all become confused as to where one person ends and another begins. Basically this song is about getting caught and digging a hole to escape. But they dug the hole too far and ended up in the nasty part of town.
Darkest Hemispheres 
This is the only song I didn't write the music for. Actually I have a new version but I like this one a lot! It's a Funkadelic sample and I did this song many years ago. I think it's in mono. This shit is old skool.
Back From the Dead 
I'm just disguising the titles at this point, so they aren't revealed in the contents. This is the Bob Marley song Exodus, but just the groove. I'll probably do the whole thing live some day.
Transcendent 
This song is really about how my last best friend left my life. She flew on a plane during the lunar eclipse! That night I was hanging out with the Jersey girl who directly inspired this project (more like demanded!)

Props to my moremellow peeps. This track is based on a joke that the Disco Biscuits made. It all falls together so nicely. Here's the 4-11: My best friend Ashleigh's birthday was Easter Sunday this year. My other best friend Mitesh's birthday is the next day, 4-12. Mitesh is always late for everything! He is a complete freak, and one day he jumped on the stage a Biscuits show (actually Triscuits) and Jon the Barber, who plays guitar, starts singing "I believe in miracles, Mitesh, you sexy thang!" So he is pretty famous for that. Plus everyone who knows me knows that i'm always at the shows looking for a miracle. Sorry if I didn't thank someone, I tried to keep it to my Aries friends and people who very directly inspired the songs.
