SpinDoctor was used to convert incoming analog signal to a 44,100 Hz/16-bit stereo wave file.  SoundForge 5.0 was used to normalize volume levels of each ~45 min cassette side to -1.5dB and to add fade in/outs.  CoolEdit2000 was used to remove tape hiss and to boost treble.  CDWav was used to insert track markers.  The finished tracks were then converted to shn with mkwACT.  shntool len *.shn function was used to verify lack of sbe's and overall file quality.

Thanks to all involved with this special evening (especially Merl).  Ain't nothing like a party !  I still can't believe Merl agreed to play this gig.  The stage was on a deck built off of the back of a little cabin HIGH in the Smokies.....  Those lucky few of us in attendance were dancin' on the back lawn.  What a night !!.   -SF
