This file set was originally sourced by Paul Sackley, who got a tape from his friend that Ryan had given him while still in school at Tufts. Paul left Tufts in the spring of 1995, thus dating everything on this tape before all but the earliest Gus tapes known to be in circulation. Paul made his best guesses based on setlist.com's archives. I downloaded the show in June of 2003 and attempted to match them to tapes from my wife's collection and my findings are below.

Tracks 1-3 are definitely a match to the tape of 11-18-92. The songs and banter are the same and there are no breaks in between them, meaning they are from the same source.

Track 4 is definitely from 10-08-92; Brian sings the same "No More" tease in the middle of the song as on our tape.

Tracks 5 and 6 are of unknown date, but appear to be from the same source. The only known playing of "Coming Back Soon" was on 08-04-94 at Johnny D's, but the versions do not match, and it is not followed by "No More" in that setlist.

Tracks 7 and 8 are of unknown date, but appear to be from the same source. The ending of "Window" is definitely an early one, different from the now-familiar ending heard on 08-04-94, meaning it was played prior to this date, but it doesn't match either of the known pre-'94 Windows (11-18-92 or 01-25-93). The "Scars & Stitches" is also definitely earlier than the '94 tape, but the banter beforehand does not match up with the only other known pre-'94 version (10-08-92).

Track 9 sounds like it comes from the same source as tracks 13-15, which I have dated to 01-25-93. While my tape of that show does not include "No More", my best guess is that it should be included in that setlist. See my notes below for comments on those tracks.

Track 10 sounds much earlier and rougher than even the earliest known "Happy Frappy", from 08-04-94, which makes the date unknown.

Track 11 sounds like it comes from the same source as tracks 1-3, but I don't have "Rain" on my copy of the 11-18-92 tape. It's definitely not the same version as on 10-08-92, the only other known Rain that could have made it onto this tape.

Track 12 definitely does not match either of the known playings of "Pain", which makes the date unknown.

Tracks 13-15 are definitely a match to the tape of 01-25-93 in circulation, based on Ryan's banter before "Cocoon". On caveat is that our tape of 1-25-93 doesn't have "Like A Prayer" on it, and also has two songs between "Love For Me" and "Cocoon". Our tape, however, has no banter between songs other than the brief banter before "Cocoon" - it's all edited out - so my guess is that the tape was somehow cut up and rearranged before it got to me. There are definitely no breaks between songs here, so all three tracks are from the same source, and likely track 9 as well.
