Phil Lesh & Phriends Warfield Theater San Francisco, CA April 15, 1999 SBD + AUD Matrix Mix (50%-SBD/50%-AUD) Disc 1 (requires 80 min + overburn) 01 [04:59] Hello Old Friends 02 [33:56] Viola Lee Blues 03 [10:08] Big Railroad Blues 04 [06:00] Jack-A-Roe 05 [12:42] Cosmic Charlie 06 [08:05] Wolfmans Brother > 07 [06:03] Jam > TT [81:53] Disc 2 (requires 80 min + overburn) 01 [24:56] Uncle John's Band Set 2 02 [08:54] Alabama Getaway 03 [22:25] Sugaree 04 [09:17] Like A Rolling Stone > 05 [15:37] I Know You Rider TT [81:08] Disc 3 01 [09:28] Row Jimmy 02 [10:51] Shakedown Street > 03 [08:29] Jam 04 [09:13] The Wheel > 05 [14:44] Not Fade Away Encore 06 [01:22] Donor Rap 07 [00:46] Band Intros 08 [06:10] Mr. Tambourine Man TT [61:02] --------------------------------------------------------- Source Info SBD SBD (24 Track Recording Mix) > Dat (44.1k) > DAT (Sony D8) > RME Hammerfall Digiface > Sony Vaio C1VP > Samplitude v7.02 Professional > SHN AUD Schoeps Mk21 > KC5 active cables > CMC6 amplifier bodies > AD1000 > DAT > My DAT > M-Audio 24/96 > Wave --------------------------------------------------------- Tech Notes SHNs were decoded to wave and SF 6.0 was used to reassemble the tracks back to 1 long wave. CEP2.0 was used to align & synch both of the sources. This is a 50% SBD, 50% AUD mix. - Mixed by dan@am-dig.com - SHN conversion 04-JAN-2004 - Artwork by dan@am-dig.com 300dpi - For best results print at the highest resolution onto glossy photo paper. Design for use with a clear slim double jewel case. - Additional 4 CD artwork is also included (see notes below). You will need a traditional double wide quad case. Replace black snap-in inserts with clear snap-in inserts. - Artwork includes portions from an unidentified author. --------------------------------------------------------- Band Info Phil Lesh (bass) Steve Kimock (guitar) John Molo (drums) Trey Anastasio (guitar) Page McConnell (keyboards) --------------------------------------------------------- DTS-Audio-CD Info Front Left Channel DSBD Right Channel DSBD Center Mixed to mono -5db DSBD Surround Left Channel -2db Schoeps Mk4 Right Channel -2db Schoeps Mk4 Sub/LFE Mixed to mono -4db DSBD --------------------------------------------------------- Notes d1t01 sung prior to the first by Phil and his sons Graham and Brian with Steve Kimock on guitar in front of the curtain d1t01 SBD missing crowd cheer btwn first song and start of the show. The AUD was trimmed to match and both sources were crossfaded to make this transitions as smooth as possible. This is most likely undetectable. D1 and D2 can be assembled seamlessly on longer media. d2t02 & d3t08 My DAT of the AUD was recorded on a 2hr tape. The 2nd set was almost exactly 2 hours. There was a quick start prior to "Alabama" and a quick end after the encore "Mr. Tambourine Man". I used crowd cheer from another portion of this set to fake a longer intro and outro. This is most likely undetectable. D2 and D3 can be assembled seamlessly on longer media. d3t05 SBD missing 0:02:25.874 crowd cheer btwn last song and "Donor Rap". The AUD was trimmed to match and both sources were crossfaded to make this transitions as smooth as possible. This is most likely undetectable d3t06 SBD missing 0:01:02.208 crowd cheer btwn "Donor Rap" and "Band Intros". The AUD was trimmed to match and both sources were crossfaded to make this transitions as smooth as possible. This is most likely undetectable Special thanks to Charlie Miller for the amazing SBD source and Gary Fox for the AUD source. Both of these DAsT, being so close to the masters, were in pristine condition. Not a drop, zap, sizzle or hiccup to be found anywhere on either source. A very rare occurrence. --------------------------------------------------------- More Info On The SBD Recording Info: SBD (24 Track Recording Mix) -> Master Dat (44.1k) Transfer Info: Dat (Sony D8) -> RME Hammerfall Digiface -> Sony Vaio C1VP -> Samplitude v7.02 Professional -> SHN (4 CD Audio / 2 SHN) Transfered and Edited By Charlie Miller charliemiller87@earthlink.net 6/30/04 Notes: -- All disc changes are seamless --------------------------------------------------------- 4 CD Layout Info Many will choose to burn this as a 4 CDs vs. 3 CDs. Blow is an option that works for 4 CDs and matches the included quad CD artwork. I do not have total value for each disc as I went with the 3 CD option.
