As for the CDs; they are all me and done pretty econo... the front end is from sound pros using audio technica mid-price stereo cardoid mics into a battery box to raise the headroom and then to a sharp MT877 MD recorder. Budget but it gets the job done, I hope you will agree.
From there I record it onto my mac using some shareware called Amadeus II which I also use to cut it into tracks and then I record DAO with Toast 5 to your CD.
