"The mic is made transformerless, the op-amp and bipolar transistors are
replaced,the coupling filter and pad caps are replaced, MIT types are used. The
mic is very open and real sounding, it offers the timing cues that give
directionality. It has no spit or stridency and picks up the smallest sonic
micro harmonics. It beats out the Schoeps (they sound spitty)and the B+K 4006's
(they sound metallic)."
