This show featured the debuts of Blaze On, Shade, and No Men In No Man's Land. Mike teased Do You Feel Like We Do before Ghost. The Birds was quoted in Birds of a Feather. Wedge included a Stash tease from Trey and Weekapaug contained a No Men In No Man's Land quote.

Technical notes:

 I never shared these recordings due to at the time what I perceived were their shortcomings… .

The first night July 21, was plagued by wind rumble and some issues with my USBpre II digital out, as the coax cable was loose. I lost signal during Sample in a Jar and a digital glitch means the whole thing stops recording. So it's not like there's a silence it's like portions are missing and new files are written.  There was four digital glitches, or hiccups in all. I placed track marks in the first set where the digital glitches are during Sample, in case someone wants to patch this in the future... Some noticeable wind rumble during Sample in a Jar including some phase shifting from the wind. Very noticeable low end rumble in between Sample in a Jar and  Sand. Wind rumble continues in Sand, and mostly subsides by the end of the song, though some can be heard near the  beginning of 555. I also noted or track marked where to mic stand was dropped by the drunkard in the second set, for the same reason. The rest of the set sounds pretty good except for wind rumble during the 1st few songs.

The second set is marred by a really drunken person who was with the “taper” that was clamped to my stand. The very drunk brother-in-law eventually lost his balance and fell directly into the mic stand literally knocking it over onto the ground and not only did he fall on it he was laying on top of it. This was totally brutal and ridiculous. It happened right during  The Wedge I was totally grooving and then all of a sudden had to deal with picking things up including this  hefty drunkard and then resetting my mics and put the stand back up to vertical.  It was very dramatic to say the least and totally harshed my mellow.  I did my best to at least try and level the sound or balance it out though it is still a little funky for roughly half of The Wedge. It is what is warts and all.

The Blumlein configuration [crossed figure 8’s  @ 90°] works very well outdoors however as I have since done spaced figure eights Sounds more natural I think from as far back as where the soundboard is.
