This is the raw recording  (First Generation Cassette Tape) I made during the performance. I'll leave it to better engineers than I, to do any editing or upgrading. My apologies for not editing the show for immediate Cdr burning, however, my Cassette to Hard Drive skills are extremely limited. Hopefully someone can take this raw material and create a significant upgrade.  If anwyone is interested in the original WAV files, let me know and we'll work something out.

Concert Notes:

This version of Weather Report w/Hakim and Bailey doesn't usually get the credit they deserve. I taped the 1982 "first performance" (in the SF Bay Area) of this band and the difference is staggering. I was going to post the 82 show, but there's no comparison - they really got it all together for this performance.

Also, for those that don't remember this particular show, the group had a "warm up" gig the night before in San Jose at a Country Western bar called The Saddlerack. It sucked. The Saddlerack tried booking many Jazz Rock bands in those days and nothing helped - they went out of business. Nothing lost...
