General thought about festivals, they are a lot of fun but not great for recording. A lot of talkers and vendors screaming out to sell beer. Is what it is. I moved around a lot trying to get away from some of it but there was no escaping it. Inside the stadium it echoes a lot. Outside the stadium there was quite a bit of wind.

Short acoustic set from Allman Betts Band for people who bought VIP passes. This set started 15 minutes after they opened the gates so I was just getting to the stage are as they were starting. I was not completely hooked up with my mic as I normally would be so there is some noise as I was getting everything set.  This started a great weekend of shows. They also joined Los Lobos for part of their set.
