Of all of the ABB shows I have seen over the years, I never had the priveledge of attending a GA solo show - until now. Mr. Allman is touring with rave reviews (much earned) and playing some great classics. I was only able to attend one of the two shows Gregg played in Boulder - sheesh - attending a show up in Boulder on a school night is a rough task, especially trying to do it twice in a row. I used to be able to do it, but that was many years ago. Anyway, talking to a guy that did attend the first night in Boulder, the set list was very different with the band playing classics like Statesboro Blues, One Way Out and Stormy Monday. But I was very pleased with the set list at this show as I felt Gregg pulled out some deep cuts that I really enjoyed.

The recording is pretty decent overall, but I moved a couple of times during the show (the place was packed - sold out) and a bit oversold, so finding a good recording location after arriving late was no easy task, but by Old Time Feeling, I found a good spot and stayed there throughout the remainder of the show. Sample included - and I'm thrilled to death that GA is NOT on TTD restricted band policy (verified this with the mods), so lets get some more GA shows out there to be shared with everyone !!
