**Notes:Thanks to albanberg for introducing me to this classic recording and to the folks at Owl and Bear for archiving these great shows! Very Grateful!! I agree with the comments made below by albanberg about the fidelity issues but it's better to have, than not.Jeff is heard asking to unplug a neon light to help troubleshoot the the hum/buzz interferance at one point. On this release tried to clean up the recording without losing the Wilco sound/style while eliminating the hum and clips(Not sure how it went first timer?!?). Additionally didn't cut any of the tracks down left in the bantor, noodling and tuning before next songs.

---- Straight reseed of Wilco's first show ever. I seeded this for the very first time on DIME in Dec. 2013. Been off the tracker for about half a year, so I thought it might be time for another go. My original description follows - thanks again to the good folks at the Owl and Bear Archive.

Enjoy!

---

Hard to believe this show has never appeared on DIME before, but according to the archives, it's true. Here is Wilco's very first live concert - at Cicero's, the site of many Uncle Tupelo gigs, just a little more than six months after that band's demise. The setlist is a mix of songs from the eventually-to-be-released A.M., UT songs, and covers.

I got this from the invaluable Owl and Bear archive. As the person who originally converted this show from a traded tape (bless him/her) notes below, even though this is a SBD recording, it's sonically mediocre, with a skewed mix and some audible hum. But it's certainly listenable and given its historical value, I figured more than a few people would be interested.

Original description follow. Enjoy!

**From Owl and Bear Archive original text: First live Wilco show! I have no idea where I picked this up, or for that matter if it has been circulated. Yes, this is a SBD, but don't expect a whole lot in the way of fidelity. The mix is bad and there's a ton of amp buzz. All the same, how much fuss can be made when it's an actual recording of the first Wilco gig ever!

**Edit Notes:
1.) I Must Be High(Cut IN) **First 5sec was missing/mixed out of sync right channel and low, split track and mixed left channel to right channel. Then enveloped to help with the heavy cut in and distortion(still some distortion). Hum removal, fixed clipping, amplified and hard limiter. Also has a drop out/funky mix at 37sec.
***With the rest of the recording tried to reduce electrical hum/buzz and fix clipping and over distortion.(other than specific Notes)
