The tapes were played on a Nakamichi CR-1A and fed into an Alesis
Masterlink ML-9600 at 24-bit, 88.1KHz resolution. The resulting files
were burned to CD and the digitized files transferred to a Mac to be
edited with Audacity version 2.0.5.
 Some minor cutting of empty space at the beginning and end of the
 files as well as a couple of fade-ins and fade-outs. The only other actual
editing was to reduce the volume of the loud noises at the beginning
 of the Alana Davis set, which I assume were due to the person doing the
recording messing with the mics.

 Each performance was then normalized individually and tracked.

The 24-bit,
88.2KHz files were then exported to WAV and encoded to FLAC after which the metadata was added. The redbook version was created by resampling from
 88.2KHz to 44.1KHz at the highest quality setting, then exported as 16-bit
WAV files which were then encoded to FLAC.
