I ended up watching the entire Naked Gun movie (again) at the cinema tent. There were movies playing practically 24 hours a day there. Afterwards, I was seeking shade and a good spot for Bruce Hornsby & the Noisemakers that afternoon, so I sat down in front of the soundboard at That Tent. I had never heard of Railroad Earth. I asked someone beside me what kind of music they are, and was pleased to hear that they're a bluesgrass band. For the most part this is a great recording, with minimal distractions. Most of the crowd was sitting in lawn chairs or in the sand, some danced. I just sat there, tired and slow and enjoying the tunes. The tape I used here was left over from the first day of the festival. Had I known this is such a good band I would have used a full tape, but this still offers an excellent excerpt of Railroad Earth. I also became very hungry towards the end of their set, and had someone save my spot while I got some jerk chicken and rice from one of the many food vendors.
