Mastered: Soundforge Pro 10.0c - *All file manipulation in Soundforge done at 24 bits*. Volume normalization, Sample rate conversion 48khz to 44.1khz using iZotope 64-Bit SRC set higher than "Highest Quality" setting w/anti-alias filter. Then dithered to 16 bits using using iZotope MBIT+ with Ultra noise shaping, with high dither settings. Tracked in CDWav.

Taper Notes:
Not a huge story behind this one....A really nice recording of a great performance from Chris and Oliver Wood, featuring John Medeski on keys and Kenny Wolleson on drums, plus extra special guest Amos Lee for a few. This is among the last eligible recordings in my collection for the BARN series because I purchased my Sound Devices 722 hard disc recorder not long after this show. This is recorded in my typical hypercard split mic configuration in the balcony of Bowery Ballroom, which is a very nice sounding venue.

So enjoy this fine show for BARN98 -- in addition to their great original material (in particular, featuring tunes from their 2nd CD "Loaded") you get a very nice rendition of Bob Dylan's "Buckets Of Rain", Jimi Hendrix's "Angel" (with Amos Lee on vocals) and the traditional "Pallet On Your Floor".

BARN99 will be Pieta Brown's (who is musician Greg Brown's daughter) opening set.
