"For phish at the ibg: ok, we were the only tapers, i was patched out of my buddies d5, definately nak 100s but with some weird something or other on the mics or battery pack that the guy said "they are basically 300s" but you are right, now that i think hard about it they were 100s shotguns, located on one of the tables about half way back.  Full Story: the guy i patched out of lost his entire tape collection in a home fire so mine is the only master in existence.  When i got to the show i asked the sound guy for a sbd patch.  He was running around like a chicken with his head cut off trying to get set up for the opening act (small Phish, i may have that somewhere too) and told me that they got there late and that he wasnt even taping himself so i went with the nak 100s.  Fast forward some years and my buddy Keith Freidel (a big phish fan) is in japan to see phish and winds up partying with them all night in his hotel room (he had the nicest one on the floor).  During their talks humboldt came up.  Then that particular show as the band mentioned that it was the only show they didnt have in their archives (remember the sbd guy didnt tape) so keith called me, i burned it for him, he gave it to them (page i think) and they hooked him up with some backstage passes for the next tour.  Cool story so anyone who listens to this recording is listening to their archive tape." - Misha Blacker, Sept. 2010.
