In her Boston Symphony Orchestra debut, Ukrainian-born Finnish conductor Dalia Stasevska leads the powerful and elemental Sibelius Symphony No. 5, as well as Stravinsky's Violin Concerto starring Leila Josefowicz as soloist. Also featured is a BSO premiere performance of Sibelius' Canzonetta, in a 1963 arrangement by Stravinsky for an eight-instrument chamber ensemble.
