NOTE: The annual FISH concert at Rockefeller's in Oslo. As you probably know, I was a big MARILLION fan way back from the days of SCRIPT album in my teenage days, but somehow had lost interest
in that band by the time CLUTCHING was released. FISH left shortly after that album, but besides a free show at RHEINKULTUR 1994, I've never witnessed a FISH show again. MOst likely due
to my changed music interests. While listening to this recording, I can't be cautious to say that some of the tracks (in my ears) are a bit "treading water". But I really liked the lyrics
to the quintet of songs basing on FISH grandfather's memories of the horrible trench fightings of World War #1, which should be a lesson and warning to everybody who wants to put up any
fighting for economical or religious reasons. A hundret years later the human race still does not understand that war leads to nothing more than war. Just let's share and live in peace together.
As a citizen of Germany I've been told so many cruel stories from WW#2, that I'm really lucky living my life without war...yet. And I'm so f***ing happy that we all have the ability to
share and make friends from all over the world. So, here's a almost perfect cooperation/work/labour of love between a guy in Norge and the other in Deutschland.
Personal contact and open mind to each other is far better than any Coca Cola, or other bleding products from the global companies. Those are just for profit. Music is for connecting.
And...well...loved to hear INCUBUS again...SB. For me: Je suis Charlie.
