In 1979, FZ was planning a multi-LP set of live material from the Halloween 1978 shows and the Hammersmith 1979 shows. At one stage, it appears this project was called "NYC & London", and at another stage "Warts 'N' All". What I'm posting here, which is what's been circulating among traders and also bootlegged as W&A, appears to be 7 LP sides (!). Considering this, and the "rough edges" (beginnings of songs fading out, for example), it seems that this is from a rather early stage of development. I've had versions with vinyl crackle, possibly from acetates, but this seems to be from tape.
I've never heard FZ talk about this album (he played some of the tracks on the radio in November 1979, but I don't think he ever mentioned a name), but there was an article in the BAM magazine in October 1979 (http://www.killuglyradio.com/features/articles/frank_zappa_vs_the_world_part_one.php) according to which FZ was working on two projects: the 2-LP Warts & All and the SUNPYG sets. Seems that FZ at this point had stripped down W&A from 7 to 4 LP-sides, moving at least 3 tracks to SUNPYG.

Much of this later appeared on SUNPYG, TTR and YCDTOSA, but there are many differences in mix and editing compared to the releases. Many goodies among the unreleased tracks, such as Little House I Used To Live In, Mo Mama (the transcription of which is in the FZ Guitar Book) and Persona Non Grata, i.e the original 3rd mvt of Sinister Footwear.
