Mitch’s Notes: Tut Taylor Archive Reel #284 starts off with what I believe is the tail end of the opening set by Tut Taylor & Friends (opening for John Hartford, who sits in on fiddle) at Nashville’s famed Exit/In nightclub on either October 2 or 3, 1973. See Tut Reel #281 for the first part of this set and Tut Reel #276 for another several Tut & Friends tunes from what is likely the same evening. The tape then continues with a partial solo set from headliner, John Hartford.
