Comment
And the second Cure compilation CD from my personal collection.
Some tracks also appear on the just uploaded 'Dr. Robert's Surgery', but on this CD you get other tracks from BBC sessions and more interesting early demo's and live versions. Most of this is also released on the DeLuxe Edition of the various albums, but this CD gives a good overview of (mainly) the earliest Cure.

My favorite tracks of this CD is the 'Figurehead' BBC version.
'Figurehead' is one of my most favorite Cure songs. The original is already very intense, this BBC version gives it something 'extra'.
The original demo version of this song I like even better.
But it's not on this CD.
For that reason I have included as a bonus the video of the 'Pippbrook Mill' - demo of 'Figurehead'.

The Cure worked on demos of Pornography in December 1981 at the Pippbrook Mill. A team of the 'Mégahertz' music show on French TV 'TF1' went there and shot the band playing The Figurehead.
They are miming to the demo-tape, so this is not a live version.
'One Hundred Years' was also shot during this session, but sadly never broadcasted.
Don't expect topnotch quality, it's a VHS rip with a couple of drop-outs. But it is good to watch and listen to and for historical
reasons a nice 'gotcha'.

Together with 'Dr. Robert's Surgery' you will have the demo's of those years almost complete in very good quality.
As said with the other torrent, I will upload the complete demo's and BBC sessions neatly sorted soon.
