Comment
The glorious Danger Danger that peaked in the late 1980s and early 1990s is known to a good many of the Hard Rock fans as well as especially the Japanese audience.
But after the departure of charismatic vocalist Ted Poley and, consequently, Andy Timmons, who followed a successful solo career, little is known about the Danger Danger. In addition to having released three albums with the excellent vocalist Paul Laine and even counting on the band's former guitarist Tony "Rey" Bruno, Danger Danger intensely toured the American, European and Japanese clubs at that time, since it did not have arenas like in the old days. But that does not indicate that the formation lost to the old, on the contrary: Bruno Ravel and his troupe send very well with Laine in the vocals. And proof of that is the bootleg of this post.
The recording of this record took place on November 27, 1995 in the city of Minneapolis, MN, at a Danger Danger concert to promote the album "Dawn". The sound quality is not extracted from the sound table, but it's cool, with great quality. Fortunately, you can see a group not at all affected by the exit of Poley and Timmons, giving blood for rock n 'roll, with a very good energy that can be transmitted by the hearing of such a pearl. The whole band is on point, performing the setlist perfectly, especially on the part of Paul Laine, who demonstrates power and beauty in his live voice.
The repertoire brings together great Poley-era classics such as Bang Bang , Under The Gun , Naughty Naughty and Beat The Bullet , as well as ballads and little songs touched upon in previous repertoires like Get Your Shit Together , Comin 'Home and Find Your Way Back Home , plus Of great songs of the disc "Dawn", like Helicopter , Wide Awake And Dead and the melancholic Sorry .
So do not miss the chance to check out the key proof that Paul Laine was a vocalist worthy of taking off his hat and how quality Hard Rock was not only in the 1980s.
