Sander Evers: drums
Selwyn Slop: fender bass guitar
Tjerk Stoop: synths/ guitar
Thomas van den Reydt: guitars (fender/epiphone/double neck gibson sg)
Peter van der Meer: keyboards/ guitar
Alrighty fellow exlorers of the unknown realms of space
and music, this is the recording of the final act from the
first day. MONOMYTH are an instrumental five piece band
from Nederland which was formed from the ashes of
GOMER PYLE in 2012. When I first saw them back then
opening the first day at YELLOWSTOCK FESTIVAL in Belgium
that year, I can remember them only being a trio playing
very impressive "floydesk" instrumental stoner rock.
With the addition of the two guys on keyboards and synths
they improved and expanded their sound into what can be
easily described as one of the finest psychedelic
spacestoner rock band around. Melodic parts are woven with hypnotic repetetive sequences in perfect harmony. Sometimes as heavy as you
could wish sometimes as fragile that you could hear the
imganirary pin drop like a feather...
So, dear music lovers, fasten your seatbelts, lighten one
up for this, and off we go on a long beautiful trip...SB.
