Hailing from the city of Atlanta, Georgia, Collective Soul shot to international fame with their first album, Hints, Allegations and Things Left Unsaid, and their mega #1 hit "Shine". With a Double-Platinum album under their belts, the young band performed at the historic 25th Anniversary Woodstock concert. But it was their second album, Collective Soul, that would define their sound of catchy melodies and guitar driven songs, eventually going Triple-Platinum and spending 76 weeks on the Billboard Top 200 charts. Since then, Collective Soul has been a hit-making machine, charting song after song. After brief hiatus, they are back to performing live and recording a new album.
