Ronnie Wood welcomes Beatles legend Sir Paul McCartney to his laid-back music show
Described by Guinness World Records as the most successful composer and recording artist of all time, McCartney has sold more than 100 million albums and 100 million singles. His song Yesterday, written for The Beatles, is estimated to have has been covered by more than 2,000 different artists.
Although Elvis holds the record for the most number ones held by a solo artist in the UK, McCartney has been involved with more, including 17 with The Beatles and others with Wings and as a solo artist, as well as his famous collaboration with Stevie Wonder on Ebony and Ivory.
Now aged 70, McCartney has a wealth of star-studded anecdotes from 50 years at the pinnacle of the music business. While reminiscing with Wood, he plays the stand-out songs from his life, as well as those that influenced his phenomenal career.
