The oldest run company in America, Zildjian founded in 1623, is making some noise. Their ancestors made cymbals for the sultan, the sultan gave them their name "zildjian" -- son of a cymbal maker. But today, it's the women who are running the business. Drum kits would not be what they are today if not for the work and innovations of this fascinating company. Cymbals are a drummer's personality, their expression, their signature and Zildjian bends over backwards to work with the drummer to help them find their perfect sound.
