This week Jayne Middlemiss meets the pop singer/songwriter from London, Lily Allen. With her eclectic musical tastes and cheeky attitude, Lily made a name for herself almost as soon as she uploaded her demos onto her MySpace page. Lily hasn't had a minute to spare in 2007 with more tour dates, including gigs in Japan, Australia, and the U.S, and the US release of "Alright, Still". She was also nominated at the brits for Female Solo Artist and British Breakthrough Act, while "Smile" and Alright, Still were nominated for British Single and British Album. Her fourth single is a double A-side of "Shame For You/Alfie". It was released on the 5th March 2007, as a single, on a 7' vinyl and digital download. Jayne Middlemiss reveals Lily's all-time playlist, including music from the past, present, and future as well as a dedication track and finally her all time favourite tune.
