This is an interesting look at the Beatles in San Francisco.
It includes footage from all three Beatles concerts:
8-19-64 (The Cow Palace)
8-31-65 (The Cow Palace)
8-29-66 (Candlestick Park)
Host: Bob McKenzie
Guest: Tom Donahue Jr.
Beatles fans: Juanita Williams, Peter Kovesci
There is some nice relatively uncirculated footage in this report.
However, there are a couple of issues: The graphic on the
footage from the 1964 concert mistakenly lists the date as
Feb. 21, 1964. I also noticed that there is very brief footage
from the 1966 concert that shows a wide shot of the baseball field.
This seems to be from a different stadium. You will notice a
dirt path from the dugout, past the on-deck circle leading to
home plate. It doesn't seem to match another shot from that show.
Also, it seems like that shot was taken during daylight. In reality
The foul territory at Candlestick was huge, and the shot in question
seems to not match that feature. The other footage is authentic.
