TV, movie and newsreel compilation. A Bill Haley and the Comets fan delight! This is a superb collection of Bill Haley and the Comets performances featuring some amazingly rare material. NBC TV special "Atlantic City Holiday." Live from the famous Star Club in Hamburg. Famous footage of arrival in England. German newsreels. Color home movie footage of the Jodimars. Amazing color home movie footage on the set of "Rock Around The Clock." Silent footage of German fans. Lots of footage from the famous German concert where the fans go ape and destroy the venue. Prior to the violence, the isles pack with jitterbugging teenagers. Fans rush down from the higher seats to join the ruckus at floor level. Then, bedlam erupts and the police form lines to hold mob back! Insane JD madness with roughneck teenagers being hauled away by Gestapo-looking police! Chairs are thrown into a pile, glass breaks and the police hose down the crowd. If you're into JDs and rock n roll, this is the Holy Grail!
