This is probably not the June 25th show. I own an original press/hype sticker (cloth-type, probably created by NYC radio station WPJL, which sponsored this series of MSG, NYC shows). Listed are the nights Billy Joel was performing at MSG: June 22, 23, 26, 27 & 28. It lists these dates only, and I believe the 25th was a day-off. I find this a credible source; WPJL wouldn't neglected that date if they were hyping the other five show, an admirable residency. It was not uncommon for hugely popular rock music acts to have week-long residencies when performing for NYC fans, LA fans & Chicago fans. During a week-long series at the same venue, there'd regularly be a day off mid-week to allow the vocal chords some rest. (Check out Led Zeppelin's concert schedule in 1977.)
So, unless the 25th was added to the series after my WPJL promo sticker was printed (unlikely), the 25th (a Wednesday) was the day-off.
Also note that 3 setlistfm users say that they were there...
