"Hank Williams" German TV documentary, various, various

Set 1
The documentary starts with Hank's death (lots of contemporary radio reports in the background), shows footage from the funeral parade, and then starts to unfold Hank's (rather complex and complicated) life from his humble beginnings in Alabama to super-stardom and gradual decline for personal problems (being "kicked off" the Opry, having to revert to Louisiana Hayride, etc.).

People interviewed include:

Murray Nash
Don Helms
Jerry Rivers
Lycrecia Williams
Ray Price (who roomed with Hank during his "decline")
Jett Williams (illegitimate daughter, some concert footage with Hank's original "Driftin' Cowboys")
Winfred Patterson
Braxton Shuffert
Billy Jean Horton (Hank's second wife/widow, also Johnny Horton's widow)(by phone)
Charles Carr (Hank's driver on the fatal night) (first interview EVER)
