Retro Rock radio show broadcast in 1982. Songs are from live shows in 1974.
This disc is being sold as bonus tracks on BOB SEGER SYSTEM - RAMBLIN' GAMBLIN' MAN 1968 + LIVE IN CHICAGO 1974 SEALED CD.
DESCRIPTION: The Ramblin’ Gamblin’ Man album should need no introduction to any fan of 60s music. Suffice to say it is a classic of the Seger canon and now beefed up, in this edition, with 10 bonus tracks recorded live in Chicago in 1974. Somehow this ended up as a radio broadcast in 1982 as part of the Retro Rock series, so we’re talking decent sound quality here. What makes this recording special (besides the early time period of this recording) is that the set list includes four songs that have never been on any Seger albums: J.J. Cale's Bringing It Back, Hounddog Taylor's See Me In the Evening, Albert King's Don't Burn Down The Bridge, and a Seger original Full Circle. This show has been floating around in collector circles in recent years, but this package of the digitally mastered Ramblin’ Gamblin’ Man album along with a great live performance by Bob and band is tough to beat (well maybe if they subbed with the Noah album instead). Don’t miss your
opportunity as this won’t be around much longer.
