The group’s third time in Hamburg but the first time they play to a “regular†crowd, i.e. not Dead Head audience. They share the bill with friends Cpt. Howdy from Hamburg. Hafenklang Exil is located in the basement of a former Karstadt department store, a very cool joint! Despite this being a Sunday a crowd of 80 people gathers. The majority of the audience is here to see local heroes Cpt. Howdy and Brotherhood makes the mistake of letting them play first -- two thirds of the crowd leave after Cpt. Howdy’s set of high energetic and original Rhythm & Blues. The few who stay seriously dig the Hood’s show tough. A competent Brotherhood set, apart from a brief malfunkshion of Kiryk’s guitar during “The drifter†free of technical troubles. After the show the two bands party until dawn and the cats from Cpt. Howdy totally destroy the Brotherhood with their party- and drinking stamina. Howdy ärgere dich nicht!
