Notes: This is Botherhoods first concert in Luckenwalde. Before the show the band takes a walk on a small local Christmas market where a one-man-country-band called Country Joe entertains the people of Luckenwalde. Brotherhood decides to change the first song of the night to Country Joe's (the one from San Francisco) "Love". The regular fast intro is preceded by a little jam upon the main groove of the song (as played at Red Rooster 13.05.2006) over which Erik mumbles a Swedish introduction before he & Kiryk announce the Magnificent Brotherhood... & they kick off the song. In the middle of "Camera" Jan's bass amp breaks down & the band has to abort the song. After a five minute intermission & some technical improvisation they are back with a second, now complete, version of "Camera". Very soon into the show the audience starts to pick up on Brotherhood's party vibe and the first couple of rows are dancing arduously throughout the show, Kiryk's solos receive cheers. Generally the band is perceived quite well by the very young alternative audience. No longer breaks occur between the individual numbers & the band rocks competently through their set in true Garage style. "The drifter" lets the mood down just a little bit as the audience is not up to space and starts to talk but they start to stomp & scream once the tune picks up pace again. The song is given an inspired but fairly ordinary treatment tonight, it's pretty long (15 min), Kiryk's guitar wails in the most psychdedelic way in nice interplay with delicate organ details. As almost always Erik misses the vocal cue for the coda. "Kicksville" is dedicated to Luckenwalde to which Kiryk adds that the band is surpised to see young people here. Before "Psychosis" (with slow guitar intro) Kiryk jokingly warns the audience about the dangers of drugs, to which Erik adds the next song would be about him. The only encore, "Better hurry" is pretty long tonight (13 min), linearly it accelerates and increases systematically for several rounds & the band takes the audience who cheers in delight aboard for a last round of heavy dancing.
